A breath of fresh air for the UK’s sign and display industries

Amari Plastics is one of the world’s leading distributors of plastic sheet materials and associated products.

In 2008, having taken the decision to launch a new range of acrylic sheet materials, Amari invited us to pitch for the project to develop brand identities and launch the new materials to the UK’s sign and display industries – the client’s key markets for acrylic sheet.

Following the three-way pitch, Bennett & Partners were appointed to undertake the project.
During the initial phase of the project, we worked closely with Amari’s marketing team to establish brand values and positioning for the new Acrycast and Acryglas products, which would be competing against some very well established high profile brands in the sector.
Having completed this phase, logo designs were refined and approved prior to carrying out a comprehensive programme to plan, design and produce all communications required to support the brands.

The launch took place in February 2010 and within the first year, the new Acrycast and Acryglas brands have achieved high acceptance and ahead-of-forecast market share. These brands are now Amari Plastics’ top selling acrylic sheet products.
